Fried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. medium shrimp
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper
    White Lily self-rising flour
    canola oil
Preparation
    Clean and devein shrimp.
    Slit back of shrimp to butterfly it. Mix egg and milk; salt and pepper to taste.
    Dip shrimp in milk mixture, then roll in flour.
    Fry in hot oil until browned.
    Do not overcook or shrimp will be tough.
