Grandma'S Fresh Cream Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 ears corn (fresh)
    2 slices bacon
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cut corn from cob. In an 8-inch skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and reserve bacon drippings. Add corn, milk, sugar, salt and pepper to drippings. Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir together flour and water until smooth. Add butter to corn and flour water mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Garnish with cooked crumbled bacon, if desired.
