Sauce Amandine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped blanched almonds
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1/3 c. water
2 cans slightly seasoned green beans
1/3 c. water
Preparation

Cook almonds in oleo until lightly browned.
Blend in cream of mushroom soup, minced onion and water.
Heat slowly.
Pour over green beans (cooked and lightly seasoned) with some of the vegetable liquid drained off.
Yield:
1 2/3 cups sauce; enough for 1 to 6 servings of vegetables.
