Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine flour, soda and sugar.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add yeast mixture and buttermilk.
    Mix with spoon or hands until dough is formed.
    May be made into biscuits immediately.
    May be kept in refrigerator as long as 2 weeks.
    Pinch off as needed and make into biscuits.
    Bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
