Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 beaten egg yolk
    1 slightly beaten egg white
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda and powder and salt.
    Cut in margarine or butter until mixture is crumbly.
    Make well in center.
    In small bowl, stir sour cream and egg yolk; add to flour.
    (May seem dry.)
    Turn dough on floured surface.
    Knead by folding and pressing.
    Pat or roll dough into a 7-inch circle.
    Cut in 12 wedges.
    Arrange on ungreased baking sheet.
    Brush with egg whites.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes until light brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Serve warm.
