Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. chopped pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Mix first 4 ingredients until smooth. Add nuts and vanilla.
    Shape into rolls about the sized of little finger.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet approximately 1 hour. Roll in confectioners sugar.
    Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
