Grammie Hammond'S Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 can sour cherries (not cherry pie filling, best with fresh pitted cherries)
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs, milk and butter.
    Mix flour and baking powder; slowly add to creamed mixture.
    Add cherries last, stirring slowly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Check with toothpick.
