Stir-Fried Flank Steak With Red Pepper And Celery - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. flank steak
    3 Tbsp. reduced-sodium or regular soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1 medium red bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    2 stalks celery
    1/2 c. beef broth
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    5 (1/4-inch thick) slices fresh ginger (optional)
Preparation
    Cut the steak with the grain into 2-inch wide strips, then cut each strip across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    In a medium bowl, combine the steak with the soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of the oil and 2 teaspoons of the cornstarch.
    Stir to coat the steak; set aside.
    Cut the bell pepper into thin slivers.
    Cut the onion into 1/2-inch thick wedges.
    Cut the celery on the diagonal into 1/2-inch slices.
