Gold Coast Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1 can Campbell's golden mushroom soup
    1 c. carrots, thinly sliced diagonally
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    generous dash of rubbed sage
    1 small green pepper, cut in strips
Preparation
    In skillet, brown chops (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat and blot pork chops with paper towels.
    Stir in soup, 1/4 cup water, carrots, onion and sage.
    Cover; simmer 15 minutes. Add green pepper; cook 15 minutes more or until done.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add more water if needed.
    Makes 4 servings.
