Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head iceberg lettuce, cut in small pieces
    1 c. red onion
    1 c. celery
    1 large green pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed (do not cook)
    1 c. Miracle Whip or 3/4 c. mayo plus 1 c. sour cream
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a glass bowl, layer the ingredients.
    Cover bowl tightly with Saran wrap; chill overnight.
    Toss before serving.
