Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. bacon grease
    1 small can cream-style corn
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    garlic powder to taste
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    5 jalapeno peppers
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes in hot pan.
