Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    3 slices bacon
    2 to 3 tsp. sugar
    1/3 c. water
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in skins.
    Peel, slice thinly or dice.
    Fry bacon slowly.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Crumble and set aside. Saute onions in bacon drippings until golden brown.
    Blend in flour and all seasonings.
    Cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in water and vinegar. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Fold in potatoes and crumbled bacon carefully.
    Remove from heat.
    Cover; let stand until ready to serve.
    Serves 2.
