Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce
1 (3 oz.) pkg. red jello
1 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 medium apple, diced
1/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Heat cranberry juice and strain.
Save juice; set cranberries aside.
Dissolve jello in hot juice and water; add salt and lemon juice.
Chill until thick; beat in mayonnaise until light and fluffy.
Fold in cranberries, fruit and nuts; pour in mold.
Chill until set.
Yield:
12 servings.
Carbohydrate 25 g, protein 1 g, fat 3 g, calories 131.
One serving = 2 1/2 fruit exchanges, 1/2 fat exchange.
