Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin, mashed
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
whipped cream
Preparation

Mix first nine ingredients in the top of a double boiler and cook over hot water until thick.
Cool slightly and add vanilla flavoring.
Pour cooked mixture into baked pie shell.
Top with whipped cream before serving.
