Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 cake yeast in 1/2 c. water plus 1 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    8 c. flour or a little more
Preparation
    Mix as follows. Let rise for about 1 hour at room temperature. Work down and make out into small buns. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press buns flat and let rise to desired size. Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0. Makes 30 buns.
