Chicken Wings In Oyster Sauce - cooking recipe

2 lb. chicken wings
3 slices fresh ginger root
1 clove garlic, minced
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. dry sherry
1/8 tsp. 5-spice powder
1 c. chicken broth
3 Tbsp. oyster sauce
Preparation

Place chicken wings in\ta
wok\tor large frying pan and add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil over moderate heat and simmer, covered, until
the
wings are tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Remove lid and boil hard to evaporate all but 1/2 cup of sauce.
