Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers, finely chopped
3 or 4 jalapeno peppers
1/3 c. oil
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except cheese in bowl; mix well.
Pour half of batter in 9-inch baking pan or iron skillet which has been heated on top of stove with enough oil to keep batter from sticking.
Sprinkle cheese on top and pour remaining batter over cheese.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Corn bread should have golden color as cheese floats to top.
This corn bread is very moist.
