Nutty O'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 c. oleo
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 c. Cheerios cereal
    1 c. pecan halves
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Heat
    oven
    to\t325\u00b0.
    Brush
    15
    1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll
    pan
    with
    butter.
    Heat brown sugar, corn syrup, oleo
    and salt in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.\tRemove from
    heat; stir in cereal and nuts until well coated.\tSpread mixture\tin pan and bake 15 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes.
    Loosen mixture
    with metal spatula and let stand until firm, about 1 hour.
    Store in covered container.\tMakes about 8 cups.
