Most Requested Liver - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. calf liver, cut into serving-size pieces
    flour (as needed)
    1 large sliced bell pepper
    oil (as needed)
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    seasoned salt and pepper
Preparation
    Coat wide heavy skillet with oil.
    Dust liver with flour. Cook over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides.
    Add oil as needed.
    Remove from pan.
    Add onion and pepper to pan. Cook until onion is soft.
    Remove.
    Put liver back in pan.
    Put vegetables on top.
    Sprinkle with soup; pour tomatoes over all. Season to taste.
    Cook over low heat approximately 25 minutes. Serve over rice.
