Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. yellow corn meal
    1 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten well
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat the milk in a saucepan until it is hot, but not boiling. Mix the water, corn meal and salt together in a small bowl; then add it to the heated milk.
    Continue heating the mixture over low heat until it has thickened.
    Stir frequently to prevent lumps from forming.
    Add the beaten eggs and the butter to the thickened corn mixture and mix well.
    Pour into a greased baking dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
