Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. margarine
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring sugar, corn syrup and water to boil.
Cook to 238\u00b0.
Add peanuts and salt to mixture and cook to 300\u00b0.
Remove from heat. Quickly stir margarine, baking soda and vanilla into hot mixture, blending well.
Turn hot mixture onto well-greased cookie sheet. Cool completely.
Break into pieces.
Store in airtight container or eat.
