1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt plus 1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. flour
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. sliced onion
2 carrots, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. light brown sugar
3 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
