Crescent Cream Cheese Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 count) cans crescent rolls
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 oz. cream cheese, softened
    1 egg yolk
    1 egg white, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Spread half the roll dough in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cream cheese and egg yolk in bowl.
    Spread over dough.
    Top with remaining dough. Brush with egg white.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar. Bake for 15 minutes.
    Cool in pan. Chill until serving time.
    Cut into squares. Makes 15 squares.
