Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 basket tomatoes
    1 bunch celery
    1 doz. onions
    1 doz. green peppers
    1 large red pepper
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    6 tsp. ground allspice
Preparation
    Blanch tomatoes; peel.
    Add thoroughly chopped onions, celery and peppers.
    Add 1 cup sugar, salt, vinegar and allspice.
    Cook in a large kettle until tender on top of stove.
    Fill sterilized Mason jars 1/4 inch from lip.
    Process in water bath.
