Cheese Pecan Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. extra-sharp white or yellow Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. (2 sticks) unsalted butter (at room temperature)
    2 c. all-purpose unbleached flour
    1 c. pecans, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cayenne or to taste
Preparation
    In food processor, process together cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. Add flour, pecans, salt and cayenne. Process until thoroughly mixed.
