No Peek Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef stew meat
    5 or 6 small onions
    5 or 6 carrots, cut in chunks
    2 stalks celery, cut in pieces
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. tapioca
Preparation
    Lightly
    salt and pepper meat and vegetables.
    Place in casserole
    in layers.
    Combine 1 cup tomato juice, salt, sugar and tapioca.
    Mix
    well
    and
    pour
    over meat and vegetables. Bake, covered, for 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
    No fair peeking!
