Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    2 c. milk
    1/8 c. finely chopped carrots
    1/8 c. finely chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in water
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes; cover with water.
    Add salt, pepper, onions, carrots and celery.
    Boil until tender.
    Add milk, bring to low boil and thicken with cornstarch mixture.
    Stir constantly while it thickens.
