Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. sugar
5 level Tbsp. cornstarch
2 1/2 c. water
4 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
pinch of salt
grated lemon peel
Preparation

Combine sugar and cornstarch.
Set aside.
Measure and combine remaining 6 ingredients. Stir until it boils and then add sugar and cornstarch.
Use 4 egg whites for meringue.
Add 2 tablespoons sugar for each egg white and a pinch of cream of tartar.
