3 Week Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. white cabbage, shredded
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
    salt to taste
    2 large onions, cut in rings
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix oil, vinegar, celery seed, salt and sugar.
    Bring to a boil in a large bowl.
    Combine all other ingredients.
    Pour boiling mixture over cabbage.
    Keeps 3 weeks.
