Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
Sift dry ingredients alternately with milk; add vanilla.
This mixture can be rolled and cut out, dropped by teaspoon or filled with raisins. Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown (6 to 8 minutes).
Makes 6 to 7 dozen.
