Sunshine Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. ripe cukes, diced
    3 large onions, sliced
    2 red sweet peppers, diced
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Soak cukes, onions and peppers in mixture of 1/4 cup salt to 1 quart water for 2 hours.
    Drain for 1 hour.
    Cook in the rest of ingredients until tender.
    Seal hot.
