Orange Tea Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    3/4 c. sour cream
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/2 c. raisins
    12 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine 1 cup sugar and orange juice.
    Set aside.
    Cream butter and remaining sugar; blend in sour cream. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Beat at low just until ingredients are combined.
    Stir in orange peel, raisins and nuts. The batter will be stiff.
    Spoon batter into greased muffin cups, filling each cup completely.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until done.
    While still warm, dip each muffin into reserved sugar/orange juice mixture.
    Cool.
