Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 unpeeled orange, ground
    1 c. water
    2 large unpeeled apples, cored and ground
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring sugar and water to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in Jell-O until dissolved. Chill until mixture is slightly thickened.
    Fold in cranberries, apples, oranges and pecans.
    Put in 6 1/2-cup mold or 11 x 7 x 2-inch dish and chill.
