Harvest Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 c. cooked sweet potatoes
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 (6 oz.) frozen orange juice, thawed
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. each soda, cinnamon and nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, potatoes and orange juice.
    Sift together all dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Add nuts.
    Bake in 4 greased and floured 1 pound coffee cans.
    Do not use pans, bread will not turn out right. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Yield: 4 cakes.
