Oven Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 eggs
    3 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. cinnamon
    24 slices bread
    1 to 2 sticks butter
    1 lb. ground sausage
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain and set aside.
    Butter bread on one side. Place one layer of bread in a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan, buttered side down.
    Spoon sausage over first layer of bread. Place second layer of bread over sausage.
    Mix together eggs, milk, sugar, salt and cinnamon; pour over bread.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, uncovered, for 45 minutes, or until set.
    Serve with syrup.
