Ketchup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck ripe tomatoes
    1 qt. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    12 pods hot pepper
    3 lb. onions
    3 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook to desired consistency.
    Immediately place in canning jars and seal.
    Makes about 7 pints.
