Chicken A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. cream or milk
1 c. chicken, cooked and diced
1/4 c. pimiento, chopped
Preparation

Saute mushrooms and bell pepper in butter.
Blend in flour and seasonings.
Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
Remove from heat, slowly stir in broth and cream. Add chicken and pimiento.
Continue cooking until meat is heated through.
Serve over biscuits, chow mein noodles, or pastry shells.
Serves 4.
