Lazy Daisy Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. uncooked oats
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Pour water over oats, cover and let set 20 minutes.
Beat butter until creamy.
Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and eggs.
Add oats; mix well.
Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Add creamed mixture; mix well.
Pour batter into well-greased and floured 9-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
