Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. cream
    6 Tbsp. flour, sifted
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook
    brown sugar, butter and cream until golden brown. Remove from
    heat
    and
    add
    flour,
    beating until mixture is smooth. Then add milk and eggs which have been beaten together.
    Return to\tmedium\theat and cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
    When
    cool,
    pour into baked pie shell. Spread meringue on top and brown in oven at 350\u00b0.
