New Orleans Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 egg yolks
    1 carton sour cream
    1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    pinch of salt
    3 egg whites
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix well first 6 ingredients.
    Cook in double boiler or microwave until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
