David'S Favorite Christmas Italian Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. real butter
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 c. white syrup
Preparation
    Put all ingredients together and put over low to medium heat. Cook mixture until it forms a ball in cold water.
    Stir the entire time it cooks.
    Once it forms a ball, remove from heat and beat until cool enough to pour into a pan.
    Will only harden if it has been cooked long enough, otherwise get a spoon and eat caramels!
