Rockefeller Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    2 bunches green onions
    2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
    1 lb. butter, melted
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    salt, pepper and Tabasco
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. Italian breadcrumbs
Preparation
    Drain oysters, reserving liquor.
    Grind all greens in the blender, using 1/2 cup oyster liquor and melted butter for liquid. Place in an enameled or stainless steel pan; add Worcestershire, lemon juice and seasonings.
    Bring to simmer.
    Blend or cut oysters into small pieces.
    Add to spinach mixture along with breadcrumbs and continue to simmer about 1 hour or until raw taste is gone.
    Check for seasonings.
    May be frozen.
    Yield:
    1 1/2 quarts.
