Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) large can asparagus tips
    2 c. cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 lb. grated cheese (8 oz.)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 can celery soup
Preparation
    Mix cheese with cracker crumbs.
    Add liquid from asparagus to the soup.
    Put layer of crumbs and cheese in a buttered casserole. Add a layer of asparagus and sprinkling of nuts.
    Cover with soup mixture.
    Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of crumbs and cheese on top.
    Dot with butter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    (This can be prepared the day before.)
