Maria'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    2 Tbsp. butter (1/4 stick)
    3 medium to large boiling potatoes, peeled and chopped
    4 medium celery stalks, chopped
    1 large carrot, chopped
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    3 c. water
    2 tsp. or cubes chicken bouillon
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground pepper
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Mix water with chicken bouillon.
    Dissolve cornstarch in cold water.
