Mrs. Haithcox'S Yellow Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 or 5 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Combine Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs and milk. Mix other ingredients; add flour last, a little at a time.
    Use greased and floured stem pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about an hour or until knife comes out clean.
    Let stand in pan for 10 minutes.
    Place on cooling racks.
