Raisin Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    3 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Simmer raisins and water for 5 minutes.
    Sift sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon together.
    Add egg yolks; mix well.
    Gradually add milk.
    Stir in raisins and salt.
    Cook in double boiler until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar; beat until thick.
    Add 3 tablespoons sugar very slowly; beat until stiff.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Serves 6.
