Irma'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
berries (jam enough berries to make 1 1/2 c.)
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
salt
1/2 large pkg. softened cream cheese
sliced fresh strawberries
whipped cream or Cool Whip

Preparation

Add together the sugar, cornstarch and salt. Cook until thick. Spread the cream cheese softened with milk over the pie shell. Place some sliced strawberries on top of cheese. Put thickened strawberries on top. Cover with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Garnish top with sliced strawberries.
