Chocolate Critters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. pecan halves
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, morsels, margarine and salt.
    Stir over medium heat until chocolate melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Add nuts and vanilla.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper-lined baking sheets.
    Chill 2 hours or until firm.
    Store at room temperature or refrigerate.
