Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. milk
    1 c. corn
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    2 eggs
    1 onion and 1 bell pepper diced
    3 hot peppers (more for hotter)
    1 lb. browned, hot sausage
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together, except sausage.
    Pour half of batter into 8 x 10-inch pan.
    Spread with browned sausage and then the rest of batter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
