Aunt Ruth'S Spaghetti Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti
    1 c. light cream
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. American cheese slices
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, thawed
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/8 tsp. savory
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook spaghetti.
    Turn into a 2-quart casserole.
    Pour cream over spaghetti.
    Top with half of the cheese slices and set aside.
